It should be possible to configure, in the user profile, which type of search can be used by default (eg. All, Chat, Images, etc...).

If using Chrome or Brave, download our extension to be able to set your preferred search mode between the All tab and Chat tab. 
On mobile, download our apps to be able to do the same.
Otherwise, in your browser, add this custom search engine URL: https://you.com/search?q=%s to default your browser’s search engine to You.com’s All tab experience.

I agree, YouChat is absolutely brilliant, but sometimes I just want to search for something and it switches to YouChat
