Brian Sparker: Hi Brian...the auto channel is a 28 year old site, on line since January 1996 https://www.theautochannel.com with over 1,200,000 pages showing in our outside vendor's site map (pro site maps).

At the beginning we created something called the TACH affiliate network and used our own in house search to search both our site and all of our affiliates...then when available we switched to Google special search to search our site...but the SERPs going to our audience had competing sites google ads featured...at the beginning of the web we did include all auto sites in our search of the sites and on the web, but because we were the largest and most viewed auto site 6-7 million page visitors a month we didn't care as we originated most of the automotive content. Then at some point in the distant past we narrowed the search and eliminated all outside site searches when the request was originated from our pages.

We then switched to Bing special search ...its slow and incomplete... so....here we are ...it would be helpful to our readers if they could enter their search request in a fabulous You.com interface that searched only the content it finds under our URL's and creates quick accurate and relevant results...content they are looking for .
